Jungberg Devín 2022

Distinctive single vineyard Devín with unmistakable Devín nose from our highest altitude Jungberg vineyard. The crushed and destemmed grapes were left in an open vat overnight and then pressed, with the juice then fermenting in large stoneware amphora. Wine then aged in terracotta amphora and old oak barrel. Very dry summer challenged  this young vineyard, producing a less opulent wine with slightly lower alcohol content and crisp acidity. Resulting is a quite drinkable wine with unique character, typical for this remarkable Slovak variety.
